Job Description

You will be responsible for the follow-up and execution of diverse projects with focus on stability of existing concrete structures. During a familiarize yourself with the specific aspects of concrete damage and you will be trained by an experienced project team. Afterwards, you will be able to independently take the "lead" in a project involving the following phases:

  • Drafting plan of action: mapping the concrete problem and needs of the client, working out an appropriate research program and drafting a quotation.
  • Coordination and execution of the project: drawing up a schedule, carrying out measurements on site, coordinating technical staff and following up laboratory tests.
  • Processing of research results: collection and processing of results obtained from on-site measurements and lab tests, feedback of results to on-site observations.
  • Reporting: targeted interpretation of your findings, report preparation and communication with the project team and client.
  • In follow-up phases of the projects, specific sustainability analyses, structural calculations, preparation of specifications, site follow-up, etc. can be carried out. The specific services in which you want to specialize further will be determined based on your personal interest, knowledge and experience.

Profile

  • You have a master's degree in structural engineering.
  • Work experience with regard to stability of concrete structures is a plus, but not an absolute must.
  • You have a strong affinity for concrete, stability, renovation and repair of concrete structures.
  • You can easily work with programs such as Buildsoft, AutoCAD, etc.
  • You are hands-on and have a hands-on, critical research mentality.
  • You are organizationally strong, flexible and able to work independently.
